Appearance: basil is a dappled gray, with white, short fur dappled with gray spots. at the point where her limbs connect to her body, the color darkens all the way down to the hoof. her mane is a pretty gray color, much like a storm cloud about to give way to rain. it is streaked with darker strands of hair to give it some what of variation. her tail is the same, though it has a little bit more streaks to them.
Personality: basil is a control freak. she always wants to be top dog, so to speak, and finds herself growing anxious when she isn't in control. she likes to know things before everyone else does, so she can put her opinion in on what to do. basil likes to be better than everyone else - she enjoys complements, and some would say she'd thrive off of it. despite her rather quirky persona, she can be very kind. she only wants what's best for her herd. basil doesn't find things funny. she'd a rather serious and down to earth type of horse, and she doesn't appreciate teasing or jokes or funny business of any sort.
History: basil was born and raised in the herd. she was the runt of her group of foals, but her personality was probably the biggest of them all. she was rather loud and bossy and even as a filly, she loved being in control. she was born into the scout band and decided to stay in her birth band. it fitted her better than any of the others, and grew attached to her band. she rose up the ranks and soon became head scout, and then after that, lieutenant, and then to her position currently, the head horse.
