The black wolf stared out of his den with green eyes. The snow falling fast reflected his big white paws, and the big 3 years 7 moon year old stepped out. Obsidian, the Alpha Male, wanted to do something.

the ebony figure slipped out of her hiding spot, hobbling along. the omega kept her head high and eyes narrowed. she would not be bossed around, no matter what anyone said. she could still fight without her leg.

"Wolves!" he said powerfully, holding himself high. "It is nearing time for snow-fall, so we must go hunting to store prey. Will you come?"
Kira approached him tentatively. "Can I come to look for herbs?" she asked, avoiding his eyes.
He nodded kindly.

Kira yelped in excitement as she found a rare herb, at least in winter.
Obsidian stood still, alert. "Elk." he said quietly. "Now!" he howled and tore after it, circling it from the front.

Rose sprinted after Obsidian and leaped at the elk.
